First I put the water and sugar in a kettle over low heat for a few minutes, without boiling, but just to melt the sugar. I let it cool. I peeled the watermelon and seeds, cut it into cubes - I got two large cups of mixer. With a vertical blender I passed the melon pieces. I passed the resulting juice through a sieve, removing the remaining pulp. I cut half a lemon into slices and sprinkled the rest. In the melon juice I put the syrup, the lemon juice and the lemon pieces, and the mint leaves.
Who wants a glass ?!
