RECIPE PREPARATION Two-tone fasting donuts:

I first prepared the syrup by letting the ingredients boil for 15 minutes.

We prepared the dough separately by mixing for each the ingredients listed above.

I left them cold for half an hour.

I divided the dough into balls approx. equal, (5x white; 5x colored).

I spread a white and a colored ball on the work table, I overlapped them and flattened the dough, then I divided it into 8, I placed a teaspoon of plum jam and I rolled the croissants starting from the base to the top.

I kept them in the oven for about 20-25 minutes. (180 degrees) and when I took them out of the tray I dipped them in the cold syrup.

I decorated them with coconut and drew them in your face for you! ;)

In terms of tender croissants. Grandma always made a basin full of these croissants, I have no idea how she had so much power. Tender cornlets with borscht, fasting.

He prepared them with lard but I decided to make them. This, I think, is the simplest recipe for tender, crunchy and croissants. I chose cherry jam (my favorite) and plums, just like in childhood.

Two-colored cornlets

The dissolved yeast is leavened, to increase a little.
Boil the syrup for about 3 minutes and leave to cool.

Mix eggs, milk, oil, baking powder, sugar, sourdough, then add flour until an elastic dough is made and no longer sticks to the hands, which is left to rise.

After it grows, divide the crust in two, put the lemon peel on one side (I couldn't mix it and put about 3-4 tablespoons of oil to incorporate) and put cocoa in the other (also with oil put a little until it can be mixed) then after it has finished kneading and mixed, leave it to rise for about 1/2 hour.

After growing, each shell is divided into 8 equal balls, in total we have 8 black and 8 white balls.

Spread with a rolling pin, overlap, cut a triangle, fill it or not, roll it and put it on baking paper, over low heat.

After removing them from the oven, dip them in the cold sugar syrup.

Advice:
I put shit but next time I will try with ground walnuts, egg whites and sugar (like cake) or chocolate I think it will be better anyway everyone liked it and will be a favorite.

Step 1. You have to prepare the dough. In a bowl add 200 ml of warm water, yeast, salt and sugar. Mix well until all ingredients are dissolved. Add grated orange, oil and sachets of vanilla sugar. Then add flour and knead the dough until it becomes hard and easy to clean from your hands. Leave it to rise in the heat to grow faster.

Step 2: After about 30 minutes, take the dough and knead it a little more. Lay it on the table with a rolling pin until you get a thin sheet. Cut it into equal strips, which you then cut into squares of equal size. When you're done, cut them diagonally to get some triangles.

You also need to cut the shit into small cubes. Take a cube and place it on each triangle of dough. Roll it from the small part of the trowel to get some perfect croissants.

Step 3: Take a tray and place a baking sheet on it. Grease it with a little oil and place the croissants. Put the tray in the preheated oven at 200 degrees and leave them for 20-30 minutes. When the croissants start to catch a reddish crust, it means that they are ready and you can take them out. Immediately, while they are still hot, give them powdered sugar. Place them on a plate.

Tips: For the filling you can use anything you can think of, be it walnuts, jam or marmalade.

Fasting croissants they are a perfect dessert for Lent and will help you forget about the sweets you ate before this period.

This recipe for fasting croissants is very simple to make, in addition it is a dough that is very easy to work with.

Put the soft margarine (not completely melted) together with the vinegar, salt, mineral water and oil to mix until it turns into a glossy foam. Then add the flour, one at a time, until the dough is formed.

Take the dough from the bowl of the mixer, put it on the floured work table, and start beating it (literally) with the rolling pin, about 5-6 times, wrapping it in a smaller rectangle after each beat :). You will feel the dough begin to harden. Then put it in a cold covered bowl for 1 hour.

After the time has cooled, divide the dough of the croissants into balls that you spread in circles and then cut into triangles. Place your favorite filling on each wide edge of the triangle and roll toward the top.

Place the croissants on a tray lined with baking paper and place in the oven at 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

If you choose to fill them with shit, roll them only in powdered sugar mixed with vanilla sugar, while they are hot, then place them on a plate.

If you fill them with magiun or walnut, roll them in powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon, they will be a delight and you will not come to believe that they are fasting.

Serve the tender fasting croissants after they have cooled a little. They are just as good and the next day, they do not harden.

The tender corns with borscht, as the name suggests, are very tender and tasty! The recipe is from my mother's recipe book and I avoided trying it for a long time because I couldn't remember their taste, I don't know why the fact that they borsched in the composition didn't make them too friendly!
Don't worry, you won't even realize that they have borscht in their composition, its role is just to soften them!

I recommend you too tender croissants with lard.
